The property located on Rua das Hortas, in Funchal, will continue to house the Regional Directorate of Sports services for another year.
The Regional Government Council authorized, via Resolution no. 565/2026, the renewal of the lease agreement for the property located at Rua das Hortas, nos. 28 to 34, in the parish of Sé, municipality of Funchal.
The building, consisting of six floors and allocated to services, is registered in the property tax registry under article 1416 and described in the Funchal Land Registry under no. 494/19980806. The renewal has a duration of one year, starting on July 1, 2026, and ending on June 30, 2027, ensuring the continued operation of the Regional Directorate of Sports at the location.
Ordinance No. 426/2026 authorizes the allocation of 6.72 million euros for slope stabilization and protection works on a section of Expressway 2 between the Ladeira da Vinha and João Delgado tunnels.
