Regional Government compensates company for expropriation on Via Rapida
The Regional Government has approved compensation of 214,400 euros to the company Atlantipetalas - Jardins, Lda. due to the partial expiration of a lease resulting from expropriation.
The Regional Government Council, through Resolution no. 558/2026, has decided to compensate the tenant company ATLANTIPETALAS - JARDINS, LDA.. This decision follows the expropriation of real estate necessary for the work on the "VR1 - Via Rapida Ribeira Brava/Machico. Reformulation of the Santo Antonio Junction and Accesses - 2nd Phase".
The compensation, in the amount of 214,400.00 EUR, aims to compensate for the partial expiration of the lease agreement for the trade of plants and garden accessories, as provided for in the Expropriation Code. The value was determined by an official expert and accepted by the tenants, with the expense covered by the budget of the Autonomous Region of Madeira.
