The Regional Government has authorized an amendment to the program contract with the Municipality of São Vicente, redistributing budget burdens without changing the total contribution value.
The Regional Government Council approved, via Resolution no. 231/2026, the first amendment to the program contract signed on November 20, 2024, with the Municipality of São Vicente. The measure aims to adjust the execution schedule for the 'Redevelopment of the Calhau de São Vicente Seafront' project, due to delays recorded in the works.
The decision allows for the rescheduling of unexecuted work to 2026 and the redistribution of annual budget burdens, while keeping the Region's maximum financial contribution, set at 3,372,500.00 euros, unchanged. The Regional Secretary of Finance has been mandated to formalize the draft amendment to the contract.
The reallocation and update of funding for the 'Chromatic Intervention' project in Paul do Mar, Calheta municipality, has been approved, up to a total of €854,959.62.
Two ordinances approve the alteration and redistribution of budget allocations for the rehabilitation of Caniçal school and the Cancela junction project, totaling approximately 3.5 million euros.
