The regional executive has approved the expropriation of a plot of land belonging to the company MACPETRO for the completion of the 2nd phase of the expressway.
Resolution No. 232/2026 authorizes the expropriation of land plot No. 1, necessary for the 'Construction of the expressway, Funchal West exit (2nd Phase - Project Changes)' project.
The land, owned by the company MACPETRO - COMÉRCIO DE COMBUSTÍVEIS, LDA., will be expropriated for a total value of 10,968.64 euros. The Regional Secretary of Finance has been mandated to sign the respective amicable expropriation deed, with the expense covered by the regional budget.
The reallocation and update of funding for the 'Chromatic Intervention' project in Paul do Mar, Calheta municipality, has been approved, up to a total of €854,959.62.
Two ordinances approve the alteration and redistribution of budget allocations for the rehabilitation of Caniçal school and the Cancela junction project, totaling approximately 3.5 million euros.
