Government redistributes 19,800 euros for legal monitoring of Ponte Nova bridge case
A joint ordinance from the regional secretariats of Finance and Equipment authorizes the budgetary redistribution of 19,800 euros to cover services for monitoring a court case related to the embargo of the Ponte Nova construction project.
The Regional Government has carried out a budgetary redistribution to ensure payment for services monitoring a lengthy court case related to the Ponte Nova bridge construction in Funchal. The total amount is 19,800 euros.
Ordinance No. 432/2026, signed by the regional secretaries of Finance and Equipment and Infrastructure, authorizes the redistribution of expenses foreseen in Ordinance No. 50/2026 for the procedure "ACQUISITION OF SERVICES - MONITORING OF CASE NO. 271/17.3BEFUN - ADMINISTRATIVE ACTION CHALLENGING AN ADMINISTRATIVE ACT BY CMF - EMBARGO OF THE PONTE NOVA CONSTRUCTION".
The expenses, totalling 19,800 euros, were spread across several financial years, from 2018 to 2027. For the year 2026, a sum of 4,550 euros is allocated. The expenditure is covered by the regional budget and will be subject to VAT at the legal rate.
