Regional Government increases housing investment funding by 43.7 million euros

Ordinance No. 399/2026 amends the budget for housing investments, allowing a maximum expenditure of 43.7 million euros for the 2026 fiscal year.

The Regional Government of Madeira has approved a significant increase in funding for housing investment. Ordinance No. 399/2026, published on August 7, amends the budgetary expenditures foreseen in a previous ordinance, raising the maximum authorized amount to 43,792,300.04 euros.

This amount is fully allocated to the 2026 fiscal year and is secured by the budget of IHM - Investimentos Habitacionais da Madeira, EPERAM. The funds will be applied to specific projects, identified by the budgetary classifications and funding sources mentioned in the legislation.

The ordinance comes into force immediately after its publication and the amounts do not include Value Added Tax (VAT). The annex to the document details the distribution of the total amount across seven distinct proposals:

  • Proposal 1: €3,329,011.23
  • Proposal 2: €5,081,404.07
  • Proposal 3: €15,451,918.35
  • Proposal 6: €6,725,074.65
  • Proposal 7: €4,923,288.93
  • Proposal 8: €3,648,145.94
  • Proposal 9: €4,633,456.87
