Regional Government revokes authorization for travel and accommodation expenses
The Regional Government of Madeira has revoked Ordinance no. 83/2025, which provided for the distribution of budgetary charges for the acquisition of travel, transport, and accommodation services.
Through Ordinance no. 297/2026, published in the Official Journal of the Autonomous Region of Madeira (JORAM) on July 3, 2026, the Regional Government determined the revocation of Ordinance no. 83/2025, of January 15.
The measure, signed by the Regional Secretary for Tourism, Environment and Culture, António Eduardo de Freitas Jesus, and the Regional Secretary for Finance, Duarte Nuno Nunes de Freitas, annuls the authorization previously granted for the distribution of budgetary charges regarding the acquisition of a plafond for travel, transport, and accommodation services, with a total value amounting to €136,300.00.
This decision enters into force on the day following its official publication.
