Regional Government publishes updated 2026 budget maps
The Regional Secretariat of Finance has released maps I to VIII regarding the Transitional Budget of the Autonomous Region of Madeira for 2026, reflecting budgetary changes up to March 31.
In accordance with the provisions of Regional Regulatory Decree no. 1/2017/M, the Regional Secretariat of Finance has published Declaration no. 1/2026, which presents maps I to VIII of the Transitional Budget of the Autonomous Region of Madeira for the year 2026. These documents detail the structure of regional revenues and expenditures, incorporating all budgetary changes made until the end of the first quarter.
The maps provided include:
- Map I: Regional revenues, detailing direct and indirect taxes, fees, and transfers.
- Map II: Expenditures by regional departments and chapters.
- Map III: Expenditures by functional classification.
- Map IV: Expenditures by major economic groupings.
- Maps V to VIII: Specific financial breakdown of the Region's services, institutes, and autonomous funds.
This publication ensures transparency in the management of public accounts, allowing for the monitoring of budget execution and the allocations assigned to each regional secretariat and autonomous body.
