Regional Government authorizes 107 expert contracts for expropriations
The Regional Secretariat of Finance has authorized the hiring of 107 expert appraisers to ensure the continuity of expropriation processes and public works.
Order No. 194/2026, signed by the Regional Secretary of Finance, authorizes the signing of 107 service contracts for appraisal and inspection "ad perpetuam rei memoriam". This measure is essential to comply with the Expropriation Code and avoid delays in public interest works.
The total expenditure for the 2026 financial year is €140,368.32 (VAT included). The hiring focuses on experts from the official list of the Lisbon Court of Appeal, ensuring the independence and technical rigor required in expropriation processes.
