Regional Government reallocates funding for Atlantic School project

A joint ordinance authorizes the redistribution of budget allocations for the 'Atlantic School' project, managed by ARDITI, amounting to a total of 130 thousand euros.

The Regional Government of Madeira has authorized, through an ordinance published in the Official Journal, the reallocation of funding allocated to the "Atlantic School" project. This measure aims to adjust the phasing of previously approved funds for the initiative.

The decision is enshrined in Ordinance No. 397/2026, of August 11, signed by the Regional Secretary for Education, Science and Technology and the Regional Secretary for Finance. The document refers to the program-contract signed between the Autonomous Region of Madeira, through the Regional Secretariat for Education, Science and Technology, and ARDITI - Regional Agency for the Development of Research, Technology and Innovation - Association.

The total amount of support remains at €130,027.00 (one hundred and thirty thousand and twenty-seven euros), as established in Ordinance No. 570/2025, of October 15. The novelty lies in the new temporal distribution of this amount:

  • Fiscal Year 2025: €30,998.97
  • Fiscal Year 2026: €99,028.03

The allocation for 2026 is included in the Budget of the Regional Secretariat for Education, Science and Technology, under the economic classifications D.08.04.03.00 and D.04.04.03.00.00. The mentioned amounts do not include VAT.

The Ordinance came into force the day after its publication, thus allowing ARDITI to proceed with the implementation of the "Atlantic School" project according to the new financial schedule.
