Regional Secretariat sets dates for School Sports Festival and Arts Week for 2027
The two important activities in the Madeira school calendar for the next academic year have already been scheduled, according to an order published in the Official Journal.
An order from the Regional Secretariat for Education, Science and Technology has set the dates for two of the main extracurricular activities for the next academic year.
According to Order No. 309/2026, the celebrations will take place as follows:
- The School Sports Festival will take place between 21 and 28 May 2027.
- The Regional Arts Week will run from 04 to 11 June 2027.
The definition of these dates was foreseen in point 11 of Order No. 198/2026, of 5 May, which approved the school calendar for 2026/2027, but left their scheduling for a later moment.
