The Madeira Regional Government, through the Regional Secretariats of Education, Science and Technology and Finance, published eight ordinances authorizing the distribution of budgetary charges for simple contracts and their respective amendments with private education establishments. These measures aim to support the operation and social support of these institutions, ensuring the continuity of educational services for families in the Region.
The ordinances, published in the Official Journal of the Autonomous Region of Madeira on July 22, 2026, amend ordinances for the distribution of charges published in September 2025. The total values, which exceed 8.2 million euros, are divided between the economic years 2025 (September to December) and 2026 (January to August), and are supported by the budget of the Management and Planning Unit Office of the Regional Secretariat of Education, Science and Technology.
