The Ponta do Sol Basic and Secondary School has updated the designation of the substitute for the coordination of its administrative services.
Through Dispatch no. 195/2026, the Regional Secretariat for Education, Science and Technology determined the maintenance of the service commission of Maria Fernanda de Sousa Alves as Coordinator of School Administrative Services at the Ponta do Sol Basic and Secondary School. Following the cessation of duties of the previous substitute, Cláudia Maria de Canha Corte Real was appointed as substitute for cases of absence and impediment, effective from March 1, 2026.
The Council of the Government approved the termination, by mutual agreement, of the funding agreement between the Madeira Football Association and the Regional Secretariat for Education, Science and Technology.
Addendums to contracts with 28 private education establishments have been approved, representing a total increase of over 661,000 euros for the 2025/2026 school year.
The two important activities in the Madeira school calendar for the next academic year have already been scheduled, according to an order published in the Official Journal.
