Ordinance No. 429/2026 authorises the distribution of 280 thousand euros to Club Sports da Madeira for the organisation of the 'Rally Madeira Legend 2026' sporting event.
The Regional Secretariat for the Economy and the Regional Secretariat for Finance have published Ordinance No. 429/2026, dated 4 September, which formally authorises the distribution of budgetary charges to support the motorsport event.
The financial support, totalling €280,000.00, is intended for Club Sports da Madeira for the execution of the "Rally Madeira Legend 2026" project. The amount will be split over two financial years:
The document specifies that the 2026 expenditure is covered in the budget under Organic Classification 45.50.01.01, Functional Classification 041, Programme 042, Measure 006, and is registered in the Central Multi-annual Charges System (SCEP) under number 21153. The amount required for 2027 will be included in that year's budget.
The ordinance also establishes that the amount fixed for each year can be increased with the balance carried forward from the previous year, allowing for flexible fund management. The regulation came into force on the day after its publication.
