Audit Firm Appointed as Sole Auditor of Madeira Business Development Institute
The firm Oliveira, Branco & Associados, SROC, Lda. has been appointed as the sole auditor of the IDE, IP-RAM for the 2026-2029 triennium.
The Madeira Business Development Institute (IDE, IP-RAM) has a new sole auditor. The appointment was formalised by Joint Order No. 88/2026 from the regional secretariats of Economy and Finance, which appointed the statutory audit firm Oliveira, Branco & Associados, SROC, Lda. to the position.
The firm will be represented by the statutory auditor António Tavares da Costa Oliveira. The term lasts for three years, starting on 1 October 2026 and ending on 30 September 2029, and may be renewed once.
The sole auditor is one of the governing bodies of IDE, IP-RAM, responsible for controlling the legality, regularity, and sound financial and asset management of the institute. The monthly remuneration has been set at 21% of the gross base monthly salary for a top-level senior management position in the Public Administration, plus VAT, payable in 12 instalments.
The total cost of this appointment is estimated at €38,591.64 (including VAT), which will be covered by the operating budget of IDE, IP-RAM. With the new auditor taking office, the functions of the previous auditor, António Miguel Mota Freitas, cease.
