Regional Government sets new maximum fuel prices
Joint Order No. 66/2026 approves the maximum public selling prices for petrol and diesel effective from August 3.
The Regional Secretaries of Economy and Finance have approved the new maximum public selling prices for fuels, which come into effect from 00:00 on August 3, 2026.
The values, set by Joint Order No. 66/2026, are as follows:
- Unleaded petrol IO 95: €1.884 per litre
- Road diesel: €1.950 per litre
- Coloured and marked diesel: €1.485 per litre
The setting of these price ceilings is carried out under the terms of Ordinance No. 25/2022, of January 26, and aims to regulate the market and protect consumers in the Autonomous Region of Madeira.
