The Government has authorised programme contracts with fishing vessel owners using petrol-powered boats, with a maximum total support of 1,797.58 euros to offset the additional fuel costs incurred in 2025.
The Regional Government Council authorised, through Resolution No. 1002/2026, the signing of programme contracts with professional fishing vessel owners operating petrol-powered boats registered in the fleet of the Autonomous Region of Madeira. The support aims to compensate for the increased cost of petrol in fishing activity during the period from 1 January to 31 December 2025.
The maximum total amount is 1,797.58 euros (one thousand seven hundred and ninety-seven euros and fifty-eight cents). The compensation was calculated based on the annual value of fish caught and landed and the number of annual landings recorded at the fish market (lota), applying a multiplication factor of 0.30 euros, in accordance with the Regulation approved by Resolution No. 650/2022, of 7 July, as corrected by Resolution No. 659/2022, of 13 July.
The total distributed among the three beneficiaries is 1,797.58 euros. The expenditure is charged to the Regional Secretariat for Agriculture and Fisheries, under Regional Legislative Decree No. 8/2025/M, of 30 December, which approves the Budget of the Autonomous Region of Madeira for 2026. The contracts take effect from their signing until 31 December 2026, and the Regional Secretary for Agriculture and Fisheries is authorised to sign them.
Licensed stevedoring companies at the Region’s ports must have at least four vertical-handling cranes, each with a minimum capacity of 60 tonnes. Operators have up to 180 days from notification by APRAM to comply.
MPE - Madeira Business Parks Management, S.A. has been authorised to sell plot No. 31 at Machico Business Park. The land covers 401 square metres and has a taxable property value of €25,253.48.
Maximum retail fuel prices in the Autonomous Region of Madeira take effect at midnight on 26 October 2026. Unleaded 95 petrol will cost €2.020 per litre and road diesel €2.113.
