Government supports gastronomy and livestock projects with 35,000 euros

The Regional Government Council has approved, through Resolutions no. 605/2026, 606/2026, and 607/2026, the allocation of financial support to three local entities, aiming at the valorization of culture and the rural economy:

• Associação Recreativa e Cultural Atremar a Ilha: Support of €15,000.00 for Phase 3 of the project "Gastronomic Route of the Madeira Archipelago - Foods of Yesteryear", covering the municipalities of Ponta do Sol and Ribeira Brava.
• Cooperativa de Criadores de Gado das Serras da Freguesia da Fajã da Ovelha, C.R.Lda. (NIPC 511 026 463): Support of €10,000.00 for the entity's activities in 2026.
• Cooperativa de Criadores de Gado das Serras da Freguesia dos Prazeres, C.R.Lda. (NIPC 511 026 692): Support of €10,000.00 for the entity's activities in 2026.

These program contracts aim to promote sustainability, the preservation of traditions, and proper zootechnical management in the Region.
