Government supports MFICA innovation and digitalization projects
The MFICA association will receive financial support for the execution of the 'MF Tech Lab' and 'Madeira Pro Bono' projects during 2026.
Through Resolution no. 593/2026, the Regional Government of Madeira has authorized the signing of a program contract with MFICA - Madeira Friends International Community Association. The financial support, which will not exceed €7,000.00, is intended for the execution of two projects of regional public interest:
- MF Tech Lab: A digital training and project incubation program for young people in Madeira, focused on entrepreneurship and talent retention.
- Madeira Pro Bono: An initiative aimed at organizational modernization and process digitalization in third-sector organizations.
The contract, which is effective until December 31, 2026, is aligned with the objectives of the Regional Directorate for Competitiveness, Innovation and Sustainability (DRCIS) to strengthen digital skills and economic diversification in the Region.
