APRAM strengthens port security with 1.4 million euro investment
The Regional Government has amended the ordinance regulating expenses for surveillance and security services for the Administration of the Ports of the Autonomous Region of Madeira.
Ordinance no. 273/2026, published on June 24, has amended the distribution of budgetary expenses related to the acquisition of surveillance and security services for APRAM - Administration of the Ports of the Autonomous Region of Madeira, S.A.
The contract, with a duration of 36 months, totals a global amount of €1,679,508.93, plus VAT at the legal rate in force. The new scheduling of financial charges is defined as follows:
- Year 2026: €279,918.18
- Year 2027: €559,836.36
- Year 2028: €559,836.36
- Year 2029: €279,918.03
This measure aims to ensure the continuity and quality of security services in the port infrastructures managed by APRAM.
