Regional Government amends rules for the MEDIARAM media support program
Ordinance no. 207/2026 introduces changes to the MEDIARAM regulation, adjusting application deadlines and financial support limits.
The Regional Government of Madeira, through Ordinance no. 207/2026, has implemented the first amendment to the regulation of the Regional Program for Support to Private Media (MEDIARAM). The measure aims to update application procedures and program execution, in line with the changes introduced by Regional Legislative Decree no. 18/2024/M.
The main changes include:
- Application Period: The annual deadline for submitting applications now runs from September 1st to December 31st.
- Support Limit: The maximum annual support limit per beneficiary entity has been set at 463,680.00 euros.
- Flexibility: Reallocation of funds between incentive types is permitted up to 25% of the remaining value, following validation of eligible expenses.
The new regulation also applies to applications submitted before the publication of this diploma that have not yet been subject to a final decision.
