The Regional Government of Madeira has approved financial support for four entities to promote cultural and tourism initiatives throughout 2026.
The Regional Government Council has authorized the signing of program contracts and cooperation protocols with four distinct entities, aiming to strengthen the cultural offer and tourism promotion of the archipelago. The support, totaling €58,000.00, is intended for the following entities:
These initiatives, which will take place throughout 2026, aim at cultural decentralization, the valorization of heritage, and the strengthening of Madeira's image as an excellent destination for sports and leisure tourism.
The Regulation for the Allocation of Financial Support to the Fisheries and Aquaculture Sector has been approved, establishing incentive schemes for collective interest actions of fishing communities.
The Regional Government has approved a program contract providing a contribution of up to 50,000 euros to support the Madeira Aeroclub's ordinary operating expenses in 2026.
