The new maximum retail fuel prices come into effect in the Autonomous Region of Madeira starting April 20, 2026.
The Regional Government of Madeira, through Joint Order No. 35/2026, signed by the Regional Secretaries of Economy and Finance, has approved the new maximum retail fuel prices in the Region.

This update is carried out under the provisions of paragraphs 1 and 3 of Article 3 of Ordinance No. 25/2022, of January 26, as amended, ensuring the regulation of final consumer sales prices in the archipelago.
The Regulation for the Allocation of Financial Support to the Fisheries and Aquaculture Sector has been approved, establishing incentive schemes for collective interest actions of fishing communities.
