Regional Government awards three financial grants to cultural projects
The Government Council approved three resolutions authorizing cultural cooperation agreements with an individual artist and two associations, with financial contributions totalling 10 thousand euros.
The Regional Government of Madeira approved, in a session on July 29, three resolutions authorizing the signing of cultural development and cooperation agreements, with the allocation of financial contributions. The grants aim to promote decentralized cultural offerings and local artistic creation in 2026.
- Hélder Gomes Henriques via Regional Government Council Resolution No. 767/2026 - Support of up to €2,500.00 for the production and performance of a concert and an exhibition as part of the project "No Atlântico me confesso".
- ACRE - Cultural and Recreational Association of Estreito via Regional Government Council Resolution No. 768/2026 - Support of up to €2,500.00 for the performance of 5 sessions of the play "O Teatro (não) é um Sonho", in the municipality of Câmara de Lobos.
- Associação Orquestra Clássica da Madeira via Regional Government Council Resolution No. 769/2026 - Support of up to €5,000.00 for the production and performance of four concerts dedicated to the Carlos Santos Group - Círculo Bandolinístico da Madeira.
The agreements will be effective from the date of their signing until December 31, 2026. The expenses are included in the budget of the Regional Secretariat for Tourism, Environment and Culture for the year 2026.
