Casa do Povo da Ilha receives up to 3,000 euros for Cultural Week
The Regional Government authorised a programme contract with Casa do Povo da Ilha to co-fund the organisation of the 2026 Island Cultural Week, up to 3,000 euros.
Through Resolution No. 1016/2026, the Regional Government Council authorised the signing of a programme contract with the Casa do Povo da Ilha to co-fund the costs of organising the “Island Cultural Week”, to be held in 2026.
Terms of the support
- Financial co-funding that will not exceed 10,000.00 € (ten thousand euros).
- Programme contract effective from the date of signature until 31 December 2026.
- Funds entered in the budget of the Regional Secretariat for Agriculture and Fisheries.
The decree highlights that the initiative promotes the identity, traditions, customs and cultural heritage of the Ilha parish, as well as the cohesion and social and economic revitalisation of the community. The association's own revenue is considered manifestly insufficient to cover the costs of the event.
The support was granted under the Regulation on the Allocation of Financial Support to the Casas do Povo of the Region, approved by Resolution No. 95/2026, of 5 March.
