Regional Government grants support to two cultural entities
The Regional Government of Madeira has approved financial contributions to support the Boa Nova Folklore and Ethnographic Group and the Recreio Musical União da Mocidade association.
The Regional Government Council has authorized the granting of financial support to two cultural institutions in the Region, aiming to promote culture and maintain the activities of these entities:
- Grupo de Folclore e Etnográfico da Boa Nova: Allocation of a financial contribution of up to €15,000.00 for the execution of the 'XXI European Folklore Week' project, which will take place in August, under Resolution no. 620/2026.
- Recreio Musical União da Mocidade: Allocation of a financial contribution of up to €20,000.00 to enable the normal operation of the association during 2026, covering ordinary expenses, personnel, and equipment, in accordance with Resolution no. 627/2026.
