Regional Government supports four cultural projects with 17,000 euros
The Regional Government of Madeira has approved cultural cooperation protocols with four local associations, totaling an investment of 17,000 euros for festivals, concerts, and tributes.
The Regional Government Council has approved, through four distinct resolutions, the signing of cultural development and cooperation protocols with various Madeiran associations. The goal is to foster cultural offerings, decentralization, and the development of new audiences in the Autonomous Region of Madeira throughout 2026.
The beneficiary entities and their respective projects are:
- AFTM - Madeira Film, Television and Multimedia Association: Support of €1,000.00 for the 3rd Edition of FICAS - Madeira International Environmental and Sustainability Film Festival (Resolution no. 265/2026).
- Ribeira Brava Municipal Band: Support of €5,000.00 for the production and performance of five philharmonic music concerts (Resolution no. 266/2026).
- São Lourenço da Camacha Parish Band: Support of €5,000.00 for a cycle of 3 concerts as part of the Commemoration of the Centenary of the birth of Maria Ascenção (Resolution no. 267/2026).
- “Bicho D’Pêssego” - Madeira Cultural Association: Support of €6,000.00 for the organization of 6 concerts as part of the Ilha Secreta - Fachos de Música project (Resolution no. 268/2026).
All protocols are effective from the date of signing until December 31, 2026.
