The Government Council approved financial support for a Christmas musical, a cycle of contemporary music concerts, and a multidisciplinary arts festival.
The Regional Government of Madeira approved, in a plenary meeting on September 3, the allocation of financial contributions to three distinct cultural projects, representing a total investment of 30,000 euros. The resolutions aim to establish protocols and a program-contract for the implementation of the initiatives still during the year 2026.
The support was granted under the policy of cultural decentralization and support for initiatives that value regional identity and cultural offerings. The expenses are included in the budget of the Regional Secretariat for Tourism, Environment and Culture.

The protocols and the program-contract take effect from the date of their signing until December 31, 2026.
The Regional Government has accepted the donation of a valuable 16th-century Luso-Flemish sculpture, offered by two companies under cultural patronage, which will be integrated into the collection of the Quinta das Cruzes Museum.
The Regional Secretariat for Tourism, Environment and Culture and the Regional Secretariat for Finance have authorized 15,000 euros in support for the Madeira Bridge Association to host the international event in 2026.
