Through Resolution No. 1033/2026, the Government honours general and family medicine physician Maria Filomena Mina Henriques, who worked at the centre for 40 years.
The Regional Government Council has decided to name the general and family medicine physician Dr.ª Maria Filomena Mina Henriques after the Santo da Serra Health Centre, which will now be called "Dr.ª Filomena Mina Health Centre". The decision is set out in Regional Government Council Resolution No. 1033/2026.
The physician, a senior graduate assistant in the special medical career of the Health Service of the Autonomous Region of Madeira, EPERAM, worked at the local Health Centre for 40 years, providing services to the population of Santo da Serra and the surrounding localities. The resolution refers to the respect and recognition of the community she served.
Portaria No. 616/2026 makes the third amendment to the Inovação 2030 system regulation, setting the financial allocation at 46,060,000 euros.
