Regional Sports Directorate supports 20 clubs with program-contracts
The Regional Sports Directorate has signed 20 sports development program-contracts with clubs in the region for the 2025/2026 season, with support ranging from 238 euros to 216 thousand euros.
The Regional Secretariat for Education, Science and Technology, through the Regional Sports Directorate (DRD), has approved a series of sports development program-contracts (CPDD) with clubs in the Autonomous Region of Madeira. These contracts aim to financially support the implementation of the clubs' Sports Development Programs (PDD) for the 2025/2026 sports season (July 1, 2025 to June 30, 2026).
The support is intended to co-finance expenses for regional competition, event organization, human resources training, infrastructure maintenance, and support for high-performance athletes and coaches. The contracts are effective until December 31, 2026.
The clubs and the maximum co-financing amounts approved are as follows:

- Clube Naval do Funchal via Contract No. 218/2026 (CPDD No. 76/2026) – €141,965.77
- Clube Naval do Seixal via Contract No. 219/2026 (CPDD No. 77/2026) – €5,827.81
- Club Sport Marítimo da Madeira via Contract No. 220/2026 (CPDD No. 78/2026) – €216,861.87
- Centro Social Desportivo de Câmara de Lobos (C.S.D.C.L.) via Contract No. 221/2026 (CPDD No. 79/2026) – €35,863.56
