The Regional Directorate of Sport has signed 20 program-contracts with clubs in the region to support regional competition, high-performance athletes, events, and infrastructure.
Published in the Supplement to JORAM on September 20, 2026, were 20 sports development program-contracts (CPDD) signed between the Regional Directorate of Sport (DRD) and clubs in the Autonomous Region of Madeira. These contracts, under the Regional Sports Support Plan for the 2025/2026 season, aim to provide financial co-participation for federated sports activities.
The support is intended for various sports and has the objectives of occupying the population's free time, promoting healthy habits, and supporting regional sports competition. The contracts are effective from their signing date until December 31, 2026.

The support covers various categories, such as regional competition, high-performance athletes and coaches, organization of sporting events, infrastructure maintenance, human resources training, and initiatives with schools.
The Agency for Innovation and Modernisation of RAM has created a working capital fund to cover essential and non-deferrable payments, such as advertising for public tenders.
The Institute of Forests and Nature Conservation has launched a common competition to recruit 15 forest sappers, with applications open for 4 working days.
The President of the Board of Directors of the Madeira Social Security Institute has been appointed as the regional representative on the National Commission for Children and Youth Rights.
