João Francisco Pereira da Conceição Fernandes, director of the Financial Management Unit of the Agency for Innovation and Modernisation of RAM, did not renew his service commission, which ends on 30 September 2026.
Senior Technician João Francisco Pereira da Conceição Fernandes will not renew his service commission for the management position he holds at the Agency for Innovation and Modernisation of the Autonomous Region of Madeira (IP-RAM).
According to Notice No. 428/2026 from the Regional Secretariat for Finance, the non-renewal was decided by Order of the Regional Secretary for Finance dated 30 July 2026, at the request of the interested party himself.
João Francisco Pereira da Conceição Fernandes performed the duties of Director of the Financial Management Unit of the Agency for Innovation and Modernisation of the Autonomous Region of Madeira, IP-RAM, a 1st grade Intermediate Management position. His service commission ends on the scheduled date, 30 September 2026.
The notice was published to comply with the provisions of Article 24 of Law No. 2/2004, of 15 January.
Laura Sofia Jesus Freitas has been appointed to lead the Division of Asset Management, Monitoring and Reporting at the Regional Secretariat for Inclusion, Labour and Youth. Her three-year appointment takes effect on 15 October 2026.
The Regional Roads Directorate will now have heads for its Technical Coordination and Specialties, Conservation and Maintenance, and Payroll Processing and Management divisions. The three appointments are for one-year service commissions and take effect on 12 October 2026.
The €60,000 cost of legal representation for the Region and legal support in a court case has been rescheduled again. The order allocates €52,250 to 2027, alongside amounts assigned to 2016 and 2023.
