Deputies Appointed for the Regional Director of Spatial Planning
Dispatch No. 357/2026 appoints Services Director Virgínia Pestana do Nascimento and, in her absence, Duarte Gonçalo Costa, to substitute the Regional Director of Spatial Planning.
The Regional Secretary for Tourism, Environment and Culture has appointed deputies for the Regional Director of Spatial Planning for periods of absence or impediment. The measure was formalised through Dispatch No. 357/2026.
According to the dispatch, the following deputies are appointed:
- Primary Deputy: The Services Director of the Administrative and Legal Services Directorate, Graduate Virgínia Andreína Pestana do Nascimento.
- Deputy in the primary's absence: The Services Director of the Geographic Information and Cadastre Services Directorate, Graduate Duarte Gonçalo Andrade Costa.
This appointment, which takes effect from 13 July 2026, was made under Regional Regulatory Decree No. 8/2026/M, which approves the organisational structure of the Regional Directorate of Spatial Planning.

The €60,000 cost of legal representation for the Region and legal support in a court case has been rescheduled again. The order allocates €52,250 to 2027, alongside amounts assigned to 2016 and 2023.
