The Presidency of the Regional Government of Madeira has appointed Tânia Rubina Serrão Freitas de Azevedo, a graduate in Hotel Organization and Management, to a leadership position in the regional administration. The appointment was formalized through Order No. 365/2026.

The appointee, who is a Senior Technician at the Regional Directorate for Communities and External Cooperation (DRCCE), will assume the role of Head of the Management and Planning Division, a second-level intermediate management position. According to the annex to the order, Tânia Azevedo, born on March 12, 1997, holds a degree from the Higher Institute of Administration and Languages and has accumulated professional experience in areas such as tourism, banking, and, since January 2024, at the DRCCE itself, where she has been active in management, public procurement, and support to the directorate.
