IVBAM will launch a public auction procedure to rent a deactivated warehouse in Sítio da Igreja, in the parish of Camacha.
A public property located in Camacha, in the municipality of Santa Cruz, will be placed on the rental market through a public tender. The objective is to generate revenue from an asset currently out of use and to prevent its deterioration.
The Regional Government Council Resolution No. 782/2026 authorizes the opening of the public auction procedure for renting the property, which is owned by the Madeira Wine, Embroidery and Handicraft Institute, IP-RAM (IVBAM IP-RAM). The space, intended as a warehouse, is located at Sítio da Igreja, parish of Camacha, and is currently closed and not in use for the institute's activities.
The process will be conducted by IVBAM and follows the principles of publicity, competition, and transparency in the management of public assets. The initiative will not only ensure the conservation and proper use of the property but also generate a source of income for the institute.
