The Regional Secretariat for Health and Civil Protection has appointed Edna Joana Alves Baptista as a Technical Specialist for the Office to provide advisory services in Digital Marketing and Online Platform Management.
The Regional Secretary for Health and Civil Protection, Micaela Cristina Fonseca de Freitas, formalized the appointment of a new technical specialist to her office. The measure aims to strengthen the support structure for the political activity of the Government member.
The appointed professional is Edna Joana Alves Baptista, Master in Political Science and International Relations. Her role will be to provide specialized advisory services in the area of Digital Marketing and Online Platform Management.
The act was published through Dispatch No. 330/2026. The appointment takes effect from July 24, 2026, and remains in force for the duration of the regional secretary's term.
According to the dispatch, the technical specialist will be entitled to a monthly gross base remuneration corresponding to 76.83% of the standard value set for holders of senior management positions of the 1st degree. Additionally, she will receive a monthly remuneration supplement of 20% of the base salary, paid 12 times a year, due to the exercise of the position under a regime of permanent availability and exemption from working hours. She will also be entitled to the allowances provided for in applicable legislation.
The annex to the dispatch presents the curriculum vitae of Edna Baptista. The professional holds a Bachelor's degree in Communication Sciences and a Master's degree in Political Science and International Relations from Universidade Nova de Lisboa. Her professional experience includes roles as a Product Marketing Consultant at the Madeira Promotion Association and as a Journalist at JM-Madeira, with a focus on health and social areas.
The expense associated with this appointment is provided for in the budget of the Regional Secretariat for Health and Civil Protection.
