A joint ordinance from the regional secretariats for Economy and Finance defines the internal organization and competencies of the DRCIQ, which will now have five core service directorates.
Ordinance No. 415/2026 has been published, approving the core structure of the Regional Directorate for Commerce, Industry and Quality (DRCIQ), a service of the Regional Secretariat for the Economy. This decree revokes Ordinance No. 375/2020 and establishes the new internal organization of this regional directorate.
The DRCIQ will now be composed of five core organic units, all under the direct authority of the regional director:
Each of these directorates is headed by a services director (a 1st-degree intermediate management position). The ordinance also includes a transitional provision that maintains the service commissions of the current heads of the Management, Commerce, and Industry Services Directorates in the corresponding new organic units.
The decree also establishes the existence of a flexible structure, composed of 5 second-degree intermediate management positions, the allocation of which is included in the attached map.
The Regional Secretariat for Inclusion, Labour and Youth has declared void a duplicate appointment notice published in the Official Journal.
The Regional Government has renewed the term of Carlos André Camacho Alves as Regional Director of Youth for another three years, under a service commission regime.
The Regional Secretariat for Tourism, Environment and Culture has designated the officials who will replace the Regional Director of Environment and Sea during his absences.
