Leadership changes in Madeira Civil Protection
The Regional Secretariat for Health and Civil Protection has formalized changes in middle management positions, including the appointment of a new head for the Risk Planning and Management Division.
The Regional Secretariat for Health and Civil Protection has announced significant changes to its middle management structure, as published in the Official Journal of the Autonomous Region of Madeira (JORAM). The changes cover the Risk Planning and Management Division and the Management Support, Correspondence and Archive Division.
Risk Planning and Management Division
- Dismissal: Architecture graduate Ana Zaida Drumond Esteves Pinheiro was dismissed from the position of Head of the Risk Planning and Management Division, at her request, effective June 30, 2026 (Notice no. 247/2026).
- Appointment: Security and Civil Protection Management graduate, Maria Graciela Rodrigues de Nóbrega Vieira, was appointed to the same position, on an interim basis, effective July 1, 2026 (Order no. 250/2026). The new manager has an extensive background in the field, including experience at the Funchal Municipal Civil Protection Service and the Regional Civil Protection Service, IP-RAM.
Management Support, Correspondence and Archive Division
- Cessation of duties: Maria Graciela Góis e Sousa ended her service commission as Head of the flexible unit, Management Support, Correspondence and Archive Division, at her request, effective June 12, 2026 (Notice no. 248/2026).
