Leadership changes at Civil Protection and Social Security Institute
The Regional Government has formalized the renewal of a service commission in Civil Protection and the termination of a director's duties at the Madeira Social Security Institute.
The Official Journal of the Autonomous Region of Madeira (JORAM) has published movements in intermediate management positions within the regional administration:
- Regional Civil Protection Service, IP-RAM: The renewal of the service commission for João José Ramos Garanito as Head of the Firefighter Activity Regulation Division (2nd-degree intermediate management) has been authorized, with retroactive effects to May 19, 2026.
- Madeira Social Security Institute, IP-RAM: The termination of the service commission for Filipa Maria Pestana Mendes Gomes, who held the position of Director of the Department of Organization and Communication (1st-degree intermediate management), has been announced, effective from August 8, 2026.
