The Legislative Assembly of Madeira recommends that the Regional Government create a strategic plan to rehabilitate abandoned public buildings.
Through Resolution No. 19/2026/M, the Legislative Assembly of the Autonomous Region of Madeira has established a roadmap for the recovery of public real estate assets that are currently vacant or in a state of abandonment. The initiative focuses on the conversion of these spaces for public interest purposes, with priority given to social housing, facilities for local associations, and collective utility equipment.

The Regional Secretariat for Equipment and Infrastructure has renewed the service commissions for three middle management positions, including at the Regional Civil Engineering Laboratory.
A public tender worth €10.32 million has been authorized for the acquisition of electronic payment management services for the Simplifica portal and other Regional Government systems.
Regional public administration workers will have authorised time off on the afternoon of 30 July and the entire day of 31 July 2026 to attend the stages of the Madeira Wine Rally.
