Senior technician Bruno Filipe Rodrigues Alirio takes on the role of secretary for the newly created Strategy Office for People with Disabilities.
Through Dispatch no. 264/2026, the Regional Secretariat for Inclusion, Labour and Youth appointed Bruno Filipe Rodrigues Alirio to the position of Secretary of the Strategy Office for People with Disabilities (GEPD). The appointment, under a two-year service commission, is effective as of July 1, 2026.
The GEPD was created by Regional Government Council Resolution no. 224/2026 with the goal of promoting and coordinating regional public policies aimed at people with disabilities in a transversal and integrated manner. Bruno Alirio, a senior technician at the Madeira Social Security Institute (ISS-RAM), has previous experience in the Department for the Inclusion of People with Disabilities, a profile that justified his selection to ensure the technical execution and administrative support of the new office.
Senior technician Márcia Rubina Rodrigues Vieira has been designated to lead the Division of Management Support and Human Resources of the Regional Directorate of Archives, Libraries and Books.
