The Regional Secretary of Agriculture and Fisheries has appointed senior technician Jose Luis da Silva Ferreira to the position of Specialist Technician in his Office, as established in Order no. 246/2026. The professional, who holds a degree in Agricultural Engineering, will be tasked with providing specialized advice in the agronomic field.
The order, effective as of June 5, 2026, stipulates that the technician will receive a gross monthly base salary corresponding to 76.83% of the standard value for top-level management positions, plus a 20% supplement for permanent availability and exemption from working hours.
Additionally, the accumulation of duties with the position of non-executive councilor at the Machico City Council was expressly authorized.
