Regional Secretariat of Agriculture and Fisheries leases new facilities in Funchal
Government authorizes the leasing of units on Rua João de Deus for services of the Regional Secretariat of Agriculture and Fisheries.
The Regional Government has authorized the signing of non-residential lease agreements for the installation of services of the Regional Secretariat of Agriculture and Fisheries, in units previously occupied by the Institute of Forests and Nature Conservation, IP-RAM, on Rua João de Deus, in Funchal.
- Resolution no. 185/2026: Authorizes the lease of the autonomous unit identified by the letter “E”, in the building located at Rua João de Deus, no. 12-E, 12-F, 12-G and Travessa do Rego, no. 14, 16 and 18.
- Resolution no. 186/2026: Authorizes the lease of the autonomous units designated by the letters “K” and “L”, located on the 2nd floor of the same building on Rua João de Deus, no. 12-E.
The waiver of market consultation was justified by the specificity of the public need and the fact that the units were already determined and available.

Pedro Gonçalves de Barros appointed to head territorial planning division
Pedro Gonçalves de Barros has been appointed head of the Territorial Monitoring and Landscape Division of the Regional Directorate for Territorial Planning. The one-year appointment takes effect on 1 October 2026.
