Appointments and renewals of management positions in the Regional Public Administration
The Regional Government has appointed new leadership in Health and Commerce, and renewed a position in Agriculture.
The Official Journal of the Autonomous Region of Madeira has formalized several changes to the management structure of the regional administration:
- Regional Public Health Laboratory: Through Dispatch no. 178/2026, Maria Isabel Oliveira Janeiro Neves Pimenta de França, a Biology graduate, was appointed as Head of Division of the Regional Public Health Laboratory (2nd-degree intermediate management), on a three-year commission basis.
- Regional Directorate of Commerce, Industry and Quality: Dispatch no. 177/2026 appointed Teresa Maria Santos Pereira Aguiar to the secretariat of the Regional Director. In her absence, duties will be performed by Sónia Marta Freitas Rodrigues Martins and, subsequently, by Maria Maurília Silva Abreu Teixeira de Sousa.
- Regional Directorate of Agriculture and Rural Development: Notice no. 154/2026 formalizes the renewal of the commission of Engineer Manuel José Faria de Aguiar as Head of the Incentive Systems Division, effective from May 22, 2026.
