Regional Government sets remuneration for representative at International Shipping Register
The Regional Government of Madeira has determined the remuneration structure for the new representative on the Technical Commission of the International Shipping Register (MAR).
Through Regional Government Council Resolution No. 181/2026, the remuneration was set for Hugo Miguel Lobo Pires, appointed as the representative of the Directorate-General for Natural Resources, Safety and Maritime Services on the Technical Commission of the International Shipping Register of Madeira (MAR).
According to the document, the remuneration will be processed as follows:
- The position of member is fixed by reference to group C companies, as provided for in Resolution No. 392/2015, of May 19;
- A monthly allowance for representation expenses is granted, corresponding to 40% of the salary, paid 12 times per year.
This decision takes effect from April 1, 2026, maintaining the current operating practice of MAR established since its creation.
