The termination of the public service employment contract of a senior technician at the Regional Tourism Directorate has been made public. The termination occurred at the worker's own initiative.
According to Notice No. 425/2026, published in the Official Journal of the Autonomous Region of Madeira, Énio Vitor Reis Silva de Freitas, a Senior Technician assigned to the Directorate of Tourism Enterprises and Activities, had his indefinite-term contract terminated at his request.
The order from the Regional Secretary for Tourism, Environment and Culture, dated June 23, 2026, establishes that the cessation of duties has retroactive effect from May 6, 2026, inclusive. The process was carried out under the General Law on Public Service Employment.
