The Madeira Social Security Institute has opened a competitive procedure to recruit two social workers, with an indefinite-term public functions employment contract.
The Madeira Social Security Institute, IP-RAM (ISSM), has opened a public competition to strengthen its team in the social action area.
The Notice No. 367/2026 announces the opening of a common competitive procedure to fill two job positions in the career and category of Senior Technician, in the area of Social Service, Social Policy, or Social Work. The selected candidates will be integrated by establishing a public employment bond, under the modality of an indefinite-term contract of employment in public functions.
The job positions are assigned to the Social Action Department of ISSM, and the technicians may be placed in various services of the Institute in the Region. Candidates must hold a bachelor's degree in the area and the respective professional license from the Order of Social Workers.
The deadline for submitting applications is 10 working days, counted from the date of publication of this notice in the Official Journal (August 5, 2026). Applications must be submitted on paper to the Personnel Section of ISSM, in Funchal, or sent by registered mail.
The selection methods to be applied may include a Knowledge Test or Curriculum Assessment, followed by a Professional Selection Interview. The reference remuneration position is the 1st position of the senior technician career, corresponding to level 16 of the Single Remuneration Table.
