A competitive selection procedure has been opened for the position of Director of the Taxpayers Department at the Madeira Social Security Institute, on a service commission basis.
The Madeira Social Security Institute, IP-RAM, has opened a public competition for a management position. The opening of the procedure was announced through Notice No. 389/2026 from the Regional Secretariat for Inclusion, Labour and Youth.
The competition is for filling, on a service commission basis for a period of three years, the position of Director of the Taxpayers Department, a first-level intermediate management position.

The deadline for submitting applications is 10 working days, counted from the date of publication of the notice in the Official Journal (August 19, 2026). Applications must be delivered in person or sent by mail to the Personnel Section of ISSM, IP-RAM, in Funchal.
The selection methods will be Curriculum Assessment and a Public Interview. The competition jury has already been appointed.

Three collective agreements published in the JORAM update pay scales and rules on Sunday work, rest, holidays, meals and career progression at social solidarity institutions. The changes cover agreements with the FNE, FNSTFPS and FEPCES, with financial effects scheduled from 1 January 2026.
A correction to the collective agreement between CNIS and FNSTFPS revises the minimum salary for level V of pay scale B-4. The amount rises from €1,804 to €1,814, effective from January 2026.
