Portway and SINTAC formalize salary changes in company agreement
Portway - Handling de Portugal, SA and the National Union of Civil Aviation Workers (SINTAC) have updated their company agreement, including new rules for meal allowances.
The salary and clause amendments to the company agreement between Portway - Handling de Portugal, SA and the National Union of Civil Aviation Workers - SINTAC have been published. The agreement covers 552 company employees.
Among the main provisions, clause 77 regarding the meal allowance stands out:
- Full-time or part-time workers (>= 25h/week): 9.10 € on a meal card or 8.55 € in cash.
- Work on days off or holidays: Guaranteed supplementary allowance for work shifts equal to or greater than 3 hours and 36 minutes.
- Extended working hours: Supplementary allowance guaranteed for shifts of 4 hours or more.
The new salary tables, in effect since January 1, 2026, aim to adjust the remuneration of the airport handling company's employees.
