The company CAPIO - CONSULTORIA E COMÉRCIO, LDA. has been authorized to work night shifts for the execution of a tunnel repair project in the Autonomous Region of Madeira.
The Regional Directorate of Labor has authorized the company CAPIO – CONSULTORIA E COMÉRCIO, LDA. to adopt a work period exceeding normal limits. The authorization, issued by dispatch, allows the company to carry out work between 9:00 PM and 6:00 AM, from Sunday to Thursday, during June 2026.
The measure aims to execute the project named “Provision of Concrete Repair and Painting Services for the Tunnel Shafts of Terra Chã, Seixal, Saramago and Cardais - 2026”. The justification for the request was based on the specificity of the services, which involve work on public roads, and the client's requirement that these be carried out exclusively at night.
The dispatch was issued under the Labor Code, Law No. 105/2009 and Regional Legislative Decree No. 21/2009/M, following a favorable opinion from the Regional Secretariat for Equipment and Infrastructure and verification of the absence of impediments in the collective labor regulations.
